In June 2015, Gabon introduced electronic visas for tourists from all countries who wish to visit. By applying online, travelers do not have to visit the consulate to apply for a tourist e-Visa.

All foreign citizens wishing to travel to Gabon will need an e-Visa, except citizens from countries who are exempt. Gabon Tourist Visa

Applicants will receive their visas via email, after completing the online application form and paying the visa fee. The e-visa is only available to valid passport to enter Gabon for touristic and business purposes for up to 90 consecutive days. Gabon e-Visa typically may include limits on the duration of the foreigner's stay. The validity period of Gabon single entry e-Visa is 30 days after arrival.

The Léon Mba Libreville International Airport is the main and largest international airport in the country. Named after the first President of the Gabonese Republic, the airport handles 1.2 Million passengers and 40,000 tons of freight per year. Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of six months from the date of entry into Gabon. Flight restrictions have eased to allow two flights per airline, per week. Gabon COVID-19 Retriction

All passengers travelling to Gabon must present a valid negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test no older than 3 days or a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate for entry into Gabon. Flight restrictions have eased to allow two flights per airline, per week. Before travelling to Gabon make sure your passport and other travel documents meet their requirements. All COVID-19 tests taken in Gabon supersede any that were taken before arrival in Gabon.

Gabon Entry Requirment

On arrival, all passengers must take a test for COVID-19 at Libreville Airport. Passengers are then required to self-isolate for 24 hours whilst the COVID-19 test is being processed. If the COVID-19 test is negative, passengers will be issued a test certificate, which is valid for 14 days and can be renewed at the end of this period after another test is undertaken. Holders of vaccination certificates are exempt from the compulsory testing and self-isolation.
